Our heart at Tree is to serve all ages and walks of life. That’s why our Tree Kids mission statement to partner with families to train up all children to KNOW God, GROW in their faith, and to GO connect others to the life, love and power of Jesus!
On Sunday mornings, you’ll find that we offer classrooms to best serve children with Special Needs. We have sensory-oriented activities that allow for decompression, as well as a kid-friendly way to share the gospel and love of Jesus with them.
Purple room (9 AM only) : 0-5 years old
Our Purple Room provides your child with a quiet and sensory friendly environment where parents and children can experience service together through our monitors with the end goal to transition them into their age-appropriate ECM classroom.
Green Room (11 AM only) : Kindergarten-5th grade
In our Green Room, your child will experience ministry tailored to their age and needs. We also have a connected sensory room where students can have some “ free time” at the end of class.
Small Groups:
We hold a weekly small group gathering for Young Adults with Special Needs on Wednesday nights led by group leader Lisa Voigt.
Events throughout the year:
Ministry doesn’t just happen on Sunday mornings! We love being able to hold events throughout the year for people with Special Needs.
Night to Shine in February:
We're proud and privileged to host Night to Shine here at Tree of Life Church in partnership with The Tim Tebow Foundation. This ministry opportunity provides an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love for people with special needs.
Special Needs Easter Event:
Beginning this annual event in 2020, our heart is to provide a unique experience for families with Special Needs that is personal, safe and fun! From stickers and craft areas, to reading the Jesus Story, giveaways, an egg hunt, and going home with a printed family photo, we strive to make this a truly special morning for people with special needs to come out and be a part! This event is for all ages.
